Something I have learned deeply this year is that healing was never meant to happen alone. Not for our clients, and not for us as practitioners either.
Why healing was never meant to happen alone
When I first began building Solura Sound Healing, I imagined it as something I would largely carry by myself. The instruments, the space, the offerings. And while there is so much beauty in the solitary practice of preparation, ceremony and devotion to this work, what I have discovered is that some of the most extraordinary things have been born in the space between two people who believe in something bigger than themselves.
Collaboration, at its heart, is so freeing. When two practitioners come together with aligned intention, something begins to happen that neither could create alone. The frequencies layer. The field deepens. The holding becomes richer. Just as instruments weave together to create a resonance that moves through the body in ways a single bowl never could, so too do the gifts of two women, two visions, two hearts woven together in shared purpose.
This year I have had the privilege of collaborating with some of the most extraordinary women. Women who lead with love, who show up with integrity, who bring their whole selves to the spaces they hold. Together we have facilitated closing ceremonies, women’s circles, sound journeys on sacred land, and events that brought our communities together in ways that moved me to my core.
What I know now is that collaboration is not a compromise of your vision. It is an expansion of it. The right people do not dilute what you are building. They amplify it. They remind you of what is possible. They hold the parts of the circle you cannot hold alone.
If you are a practitioner, a healer, a creative or a woman who is on a mission, I want to say this to you. Find your people. Build with them. Trust the ones whose values match their actions, whose presence makes the room feel safer, and whose work makes yours more meaningful simply by being near it.
That is the real medicine of collaboration. And I am only just beginning to understand how far it can carry us.
